ZUKKI

Zukki’s ex owner rented a flat and had owned her since she was a puppy. One day she left Zukki with her landlord and said she would be back in a couple of days. She never returned and did not leave any contact details at all. The landlord kept her for a couple of months hoping that she would come back for Zukki.

She has settled very quickly in her new home and this photo shows her after ‘a wash and brush up’.

PORTIA

Portia was taken in by the RSPCA as a cruelty case. She had lived with various other dogs and had spent most of her time in a small crate. She could hardly stand up and couldn’t walk. Portia spent many weeks with the RSPCA recovering slowly.

Portia is much better now and is loving her new home, big garden and the freedom to walk around.

SETH & ZEUS

Seth and Zeus are not brothers but had lived together since puppies. Their owner loved them dearly but had to part with them because of serious health problems.

ALFIE & BEN

Alfie and Ben pictured in their original home just before leaving. Ben and Alfie had always lived together. Sadly their owner died and his wife was too ill to look after the boys. They now have a wonderful home with David and Michele.

ALFIE & BEN

Alfie and Ben enjoying the snow in their new home. They love to tear around the garden and going out for walks. The boys settled in really quickly and have lots of fun. They have made many new friends. I'm afraid that since these photos were taken Alfie has passed over to Rainbow Bridge. It was very sudden and totally unexpected.

DREW

Drew was abandoned in Southern Ireland. He was left in a kennel and never collected. His coat was very matted and he was underweight. The RSPCA arranged for him to come over here and then contacted Afghan Rescue. They thought Drew was approximately to years old. His coat was clipped; he had all his injections and chip done. All the staff at the kennel fell in love with him.

DREW

Drew is now in his new home. Pete said he is a beautiful dog (as you can see from his photos). He is a real character and is very much loved by the family. He loves his walks and has found the sofa! He must have been loved by someone, somewhere in his past. Drew is very good on the lead; he sits and is house trained. Pete is over the moon with him. They go for lots of walks each day and he has the added bonus of losing 12 pounds in weight since Drew's arrival!
